50 years Welthungerhilfe

For the past 50 years, the Welthungerhilfe (WHH) has been fighting against the suffering of about one billion people in the world. For this reason, the WHH held a think-tank in August at the Malzfabrik.

Under the slogan "Unlimited" it was about critically reviewing their work in light of new challenges and the ever-increasing globalization as well as searching together for new approaches and creating new perspectives on the topics of development cooperation, global responsibility and to raise awareness about the mobilization of society.

Invited to the think-tank “Young Searchers Unlimited” were young open-minded thinkers, creative reformers, movers, shakers and out-of-the-box thinkers - among others were Max Leßmann, singer of the band "Vierkanttretlager", Allison Jones, the winner of "Ich kann Kanzler"2012, Marcel Siewert, who is committed to clean drinking water in developing countries with “Viva con Agua”, as well as students, artists and photographers.
