IGA 2017

The International Horticultural Exposition presents the future of urban green spaces and culture in April 2017 on 100 hectares of exhibition space.

International landscape architects, garden designers, plant producers, artists and cultural workers from all over the world transform Berlin into a laboratory of future gardening. Around 200 sqm exhibitions area will be designed by the Malzfabrik.

Venue of the exhibition is the Marzahn-Hellersdorf districts amid Europe's largest housing estate. The largely unrecognized district is one of the greenest in Berlin. Thematically appropriately located in the heart of the IGA site are the Gardens of the World, which attract 700,000 visitors annually.

The diverse surrounding landscape includes Wuhletal with its extensive hiking trails, the Wuhleteich lake and the Kienberg hills. Natural landscape and skyscraper silhouette are joined together at this location.

We particularly look forward to contribute in 2017, as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Malzfabrik that year. We will think of many special surprises for the occasion!
